Regulations of Rabat-Comedy<\/span> International Film Festival<\/h1>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Please read these rules and terms carefully before submitting your film.
\nBy submitting your film to compete in the Rabat-Comedy International Film Festival, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you will be bound by these rules and terms.
\nAll films must be subtitled in English. Subtitles need to be embedded in the film. If you also have for your film subtitles in French and\/or in Arabic, you can submit them with your film in SRT file form.
\nThe submitted films must belong to the comedy genre.
\nSubmitted short films must be no less than 3 minutes and no more than 29 minutes long.
\nSubmitted feature films must be no less than 70 minutes and no more than 150 minutes long.
\nAll submitted Films must have been completed after January 1st, 2023.
\nSubmitted films must be accessible through the FilmFreeway platform in order to be seen by the film selection committee members.
\nThe deadline for film submission is April 27th , 2024 at 11:59 PM.
\nAccepted films will be notified around May 23 rd, 2024.
\nNo postal and mail submissions are accepted.
\nDuring the festival, selected films can be screened more than once and are scheduled at the discretion of the festival staff.
\nThe festival does not pay for any screening fees.
\nSelected films must be digitally transferred to the festival in a FullHD screening format, before May 31st 2024. Furthermore, 6 stills from the film, a director’s head shot photo, the film poster, a synopsis and film information must also be transferred to the festival at the same time.
\nParticipants grant the right to use excerpts of the films submitted and accepted, for promotional purposes.
\nBy submitting their film, participants confirm their rights on their film. It is their responsibility to obtain all legal permissions for any copyrighted material that may be used in their film.
